Can I print any design on the cover?

Yes! Whatever your heart desires. Just make sure you own the rights to the content. Also, if the image is extremely offensive, we reserve the right to refund your money and not print the custom item(s).

Can I customize the inside pages of my custom notebook?

As of right now, the online editor doesn't include customization for the inside pages. Print on demand products will use our stock inside paper options. We currently use premium 70lb (100gsm) paper for the inside pages in Lined, Blank, or Dot Grid page formats. Stay tuned for more options and formats - they're in the works!

Will the Denik Branding stay on the inside?

The Denik branding is included by default so you remember where the product is from and how it helped fund education projects worldwide. If you’d like, you can reposition it... or remove it if it doesn't complement your design.

Will any of the edges be trimmed? Is the template full bleed?

Yes. The template is set up for full bleed printing: 1/8th of an inch (0.125") will be trimmed from each edge of the image shown to assure a clean print-to-edge. In the editor, the gray box marks where the bleed line is. The blue line is the trim line - a reminder to help you keep objects from getting too close to the bleed line.

How do I add foil to my design?

Currently foil is only available on the 5.25 x 8.25 Classic Layflat Notebook. When looking to add foil to your design, the first thing you will need to do is create a duplicate file of your design. This file will need to have the parts that you want foiled designed in black. You can then delete everything else from the file. We ask that it be at least .5” from the spine and edges.
Next, in the custom builder you will need to select the foil color that you want. After, you will upload the original design file. Then, you will go over to the Foil Elements tab on the right side. When that tab is selected you can add your foil file. As a reminder, anything that you want to be foil must be designed in black in the foil file.

Can I order just one custom notebook?

You came to the right place! Just enter "1" as QUANTITY on the product page... or more if one isn't enough.

What if my desired quantity is epicly high?

Can I add my company’s logo?

Absolutely. Click on the option that allows you to upload artwork/images and select your logo. Then you’ll be able to resize and move the logo where you’d like.

How long will it take to get my custom notebook(s)?

Product will be in production for 5-10 business days before shipping out. The items will ship to you based on the preferred shipping method you select and we will email you a tracking number as soon as they ship.

What paper options are available?

We currently have premium 70lb (100gsm) paper for the inside pages. Our stock paper is available in Lined, Blank, and Dot Grid page formats. Stay tuned for more options, though!

What's the difference between "made to order/print on demand" and a regular product?

Our regular products are part of our standard line. "Made to order/print on demand" products are made one at a time, just for you!

Denik Return Policy

We accept returns for non-custom items, as long as they have not been used and are free from damage after arrival.

For sale items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns.

We do not accept returns for custom items because they were made specifically for you. If there was an issue with how the notebook arrived (i.e. it arrived damaged, or arrived differently than what the print file shows) we will be happy to send you a replacement.

All issues must be brought to our attention within 14 days of receiving the product to be eligible for a replacement.
