After I fell in love with Denik's layflat notebooks and HAD to have another one, I went to the site to dig around and pick the perfect one that caught my eye. Well, reader, it was THIS ONE. The cover art caught my eye AND my heart. It's so fun! So bright! When I go to journal my sad, weird little thoughts at the end of the day...or the middle of the night when I can't sleep (because I'm having sad, weird little thoughts) it genuinely cheers me up to see this notebook waiting for me! Surround yourself with happy, pretty things, if you can (see: this notebook.)
Discovered this at a local Joann's today and fell in love! Beautiful design, with sturdy paper and a ribbon attached to keep my place. Will be a long time customer.
Of course I'd recommend...I'm the artist. :) This piece was inspired by the colors of plant life in NC.We have over 500 shades of green, and I was super stoked to see that the notebook's colors turned out as vibrantly as the original painting!
I'm the artist, so of course I'm tooting my own horn, but I like this design a lot because it reminds me of the beach! I named it for Nags Head, NC which is a coastal town at the Outer Banks of NC. For this design I thought about splashing water in the summer. I was stunned by the quality of the print job - the cover of the notebook came out just as vibrantly as the original painting!
